Proof of Concept for 1-800-Flowers

In collaboration with SceneSave, Vicam helped design and build a proof-of-concept platform showcasing their vision: letting viewers save scenes from TV shows and shop directly from those moments. The experience demonstrated the potential of contextual commerce—blending entertainment and e-commerce in a seamless, engaging way.

the project

development in the details

Over a focused two-week sprint, we created a demo experience that allowed users to watch curated clips, save key scenes, and explore clickable markers that revealed shoppable products. After viewing, users could revisit their saved scenes, browse relevant items, and simulate adding them to a cart.

To validate the concept, the platform included real-time analytics, ad impression tracking, and an end-of-session survey to collect user feedback. The demo was funded by 1-800-Flowers, who used it to measure how often users engaged with their products and brand within an interactive video experience like SceneSave.
