How We Run a Project

Every project moves through the same six steps. At any point you'll know which phase you're in, what comes next, and what we need from you.

  • Discovery & Strategy We start by asking questions. What are you trying to build, who uses it, and what does it need to do on day one? We turn the answers into a scoped plan with a budget and a timeline.
  • Design & Prototyping We design the screens and flows before we build them. Wireframes and prototypes give you something concrete to react to, and changing a design costs far less than changing finished code.
  • Development & Engineering Then we build. We work in short cycles and show you working software as we go, so there are no surprises at the end. We write code the way we'd want to inherit it: readable, consistent, and maintainable by whoever comes after us.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance We test before your users do. Automated tests cover the critical paths, we check the application against the project requirements, and every change is reviewed by a second developer before it ships.
  • Implementation & Integration Most projects have to talk to something else: a payment provider, a CRM, an aging internal system. We build those connections and test them against real data before launch.
  • Deployment & Launch We manage the launch itself, including hosting and zero-downtime deployment. After go-live we stick around to fix what surfaces and plan what's next.
