Developer-First Document Signing
We kept hitting the same problem on client projects: the signing workflow is simple, but the pricing around it is not. Per-envelope fees make costs hard to predict. API access is usually locked behind the most expensive tier. And free plans are so limited they barely work as a proof of concept.
Papyrus Doc takes a different approach. Every plan gets the same core features, API access is available from day one, and flat monthly pricing means you know what you're paying before you send a single document.

Papyrus Doc now has four tiers. Free includes 5 documents per month. Starter is $12/mo billed monthly for 15 documents per month or $8/mo billed yearly for 200 documents per year. Pro is $24/mo billed monthly for 50 documents per month or $16/mo billed yearly for 750 documents per year. Business is $58/mo billed monthly for 200 documents per month or $39/mo billed yearly for 3,000 documents per year. No per-envelope fees, no hidden costs, and every plan includes templates, API access, webhooks, and team workspaces.
The Signing Workflow
Upload a PDF, drag and drop to place signature fields, add recipients, and choose parallel or sequential signing order. Recipients get an email with a secure signing link, draw or type their signature in the browser (no account needed), and once everyone has signed, Papyrus Doc generates a finalized PDF with a full audit trail.
API Access on Every Plan
Most e-signature platforms treat API access as a premium feature. Papyrus Doc includes it on every plan, including the free tier. The API makes it easy to send documents from pre-defined templates, track signing status, and receive webhook notifications when documents are completed.
Templates and Teams
For documents you send repeatedly, Papyrus Doc has a template system with role-based field configuration. Define your fields and roles once, then send new documents by assigning recipients to roles, through the UI or the API. Team workspaces keep documents and templates organized with separate data for each team.
