The app provides free access to essential resources, including diagnostic algorithms and the latest Rome IV criteria for DGBIs. A key feature is the integrated marketplace, allowing users to purchase the foundation's renowned textbooks and other educational products, effectively digitizing their distribution channel. By offering these tools in an intuitive mobile format, we've helped the Rome Foundation expand its reach and further its mission to legitimize and advance the understanding of gut-brain interactions.

development in the detailsThe primary challenge was to organize a vast library of dense medical information into an intuitive and easily navigable mobile interface. The app needed to cater to different user groups—from seasoned researchers to patients seeking to understand their condition—while maintaining scientific accuracy and credibility.
Our solution was a feature-rich Flutter application powered by a custom Laravel API. This stack allowed for rapid development across both iOS and Android while providing the Rome Foundation team with a powerful content management system.
